Comments:Barbetta, opened in 1906 by Sebastiano Maioglio and now owned by his daughter Laura Maioglio, is the oldest restaurant still owned by its founding family. The Main Dining Room, which can be used as a ballroom, and the outdoor garden, are suitable for larger receptions. For smaller parties, Barbetta makes available the second floor of its 1874 and 1881 townhouses, built by the Astor family. This Parlor Floor, which has its own private entrance from the street, is imposing and patrician. It consists of the original dining room, library and drawing rooms, each preserving its original fireplace as well as beautiful woodwork and period details.
